About us

Independent sign makers since 2001.

We're a Wilmington-based sign manufacturer working with businesses across Kent, London and the South East — from single shops to multi-branch organisations.

Puffy lightbox and wired 3D letters laid out on a workbench in our workshop during assembly

Custom Signs & Print was established in 2001. Since then we've stayed independent, kept core production in our own workshop and built our work around what businesses actually need from a sign: to be seen, to represent them properly, and to last.

Our clients include independent shops, retailers, contractors, commercial property operators and organisations with several sites. Some need a single fascia; others need consistent signage rolled out across many locations.

Whatever the scale, the process is the same: listen to the brief, survey properly, make it carefully and fit it well.

How we work

Why businesses choose us

Our own workshop

Large-format printing, CNC routing, laser cutting and 3D lettering in Wilmington, combined with carefully selected specialist suppliers where a project needs them.

Materials knowledge

Two decades of making signs has taught us which materials last on an exposed fascia, which vinyls behave on a curved van panel and when a cheaper option is a false economy.

Our own installers

The people who fit your sign understand how it was made. We survey, install and stand behind the work.

Straight answers

We'll tell you what's practical, what needs planning consent and what it will really cost — before you commit.

The process

From enquiry to installation

Quotations are free and without obligation. Once you accept, we normally request a 50% deposit before design work begins. We then develop the artwork with you for approval before production.
