Online orders
Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms apply to online orders placed with Custom Signs and Print Limited, trading as Custom Signs & Print, Unit 1, St Mary's Nursery, 103 Birchwood Road, Wilmington, Kent DA2 7HQ. Contact hello@customsignsandprint.uk or 01322 836 185. Separately quoted projects may have additional agreed terms.
2. Prices, payment and acceptance
Product prices are in pounds sterling and shown including VAT at 20%, with the excluding-VAT price also shown. Delivery is additional and displayed in the basket before payment. Payment is taken at secure checkout through our payment provider; we do not store card details. An order is accepted when we send the order confirmation email. An enquiry acknowledgement is not acceptance of an order or a guaranteed completion date. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment for the unfulfilled goods.
3. Delivery
Online delivery is to UK mainland addresses only, normally within 3–5 working days. Charges follow the existing goods-value delivery table, with VAT added to delivery; orders of £900 or more excluding VAT need a delivery quote. See Delivery & Returns for the current table. Please provide accurate delivery details. We will contact you about any known delay; this does not limit your statutory rights.
4. Consumer cancellation and returns
If you are a consumer, you can cancel an order for non-personalised goods within 14 days after receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Notify us by email or phone and return the goods within 14 days of cancellation. You pay return shipping unless goods are faulty. We refund the goods and eligible standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop; we may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond this.
Goods printed or personalised to your artwork or specifications are excluded from the change-of-mind cancellation right, but your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods remain. See Delivery & Returns. Business purchases do not carry the same statutory change-of-mind right unless agreed.
5. Artwork and proofs
You are responsible for having permission and all necessary rights to artwork, logos, images and text you supply. Please check and approve proofs carefully, including spelling, layout, dimensions and content, before production. Approval does not remove your rights if we fail to produce the goods as agreed.
6. Damage, faults and statutory rights
Please inspect deliveries and report damage within 48 hours, with photographs where possible, so we can investigate promptly. This request is not a deadline that removes your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms affects consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including rights where goods are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose.
7. Liability
Where the law permits, our liability arising from an online order is limited to the value of that order. This limit does not apply where it would be unlawful, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
8. Privacy and governing law
See our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy for information handling and browser storage. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction where applicable.
