The Chippy — Illuminated Signage Refresh

A familiar look, freshly made.

The Chippy wanted to replace its ageing shopfront signage while keeping the familiar appearance its customers recognised. We manufactured and installed a new illuminated fascia, closely following the existing design and giving the frontage a fresh, sharp finish.

We stripped out the old signage and replaced the back tray and internal LEDs. The new fascia was fabricated from aluminium composite, with stencil-cut details allowing light to shine through selected parts of the design.

The main lettering was manufactured from built-up acrylic, illuminated through both the faces and sides. This gives the shop name depth during the day and an all-round glow when lit.

From removal to final installation, we handled the complete signage replacement — retaining the shop’s identity while renewing the construction and lighting behind it.
